Morteza Shoushtari earned his Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Brigham Young University (BYU) in 2023, specializing in physical-layer security and error-correction coding in wireless communications. His impactful research is evident through numerous publications in prestigious academic conferences and journals, resulting in three distinguished awards from the IEEE and ITC.
Prior to his doctoral studies, Morteza accumulated five years of industry experience as a network engineer at Huawei Technologies Co., JYANE Construction Co., and Persia Cloud Co.
He is an active member of esteemed professional organizations such as the IEEE Communication Society (ComSoc), the IEEE Information Theory Society (ITSoc), and the engineering honors society “Eta Kappa Nu”.
